Our Coffee

At Circles Café & Hostel we are proud to be serving you coffee that supports local growers and is roasted here in San Marcos la Laguna by Shangri-la Atitlan. And... our baristas are passionate about serving you the best cup of coffee from our extensive menu.

We worked with Shangri-la Atitlan Roasters to find the perfect fit for our espresso. We are serving you a full city roast. Roasted past the first crack of the bean to leave a sweet taste to the coffee that we grind freshly for each cup.

For our filter coffee we serve a city roast. A little lighter but brewed strong for a cup packing plenty of flavor.

This is one of my favorite hostels I have stayed at! The common areas are comfortable with very cool recycled art to accent the place. Staff & volunteers were kind & helpful. The breakfast was amazing as well. Thank you all for such a great experience!

This is a great place, it’s clean, cheap and the staff really make you feel like home. Food’s delicious (and you have a special price for breakfast if you’re a guest). These guys provide great entertainment throughout the day with their cat & dog chase routine. They will cuddle up on a lap for a bit of TLC more importantly take on the roles of security & pest control.

San Marcos la Laguna is one of the most beautiful spots on Lake Atitlan. The town itself is a convergence of cultures, with its roots in Mayan traditions. The streets are full of colour from both the people and surrounding nature. During your stay here there are a huge variety of activities to take advantage of from yoga, meditation, kayaking, trekking, to live music, drum making, many different workshops and so much more. This is a town with an amazing sense of community that is both a place to be inspired and inspire others.

We are located in the heart of San Marcos la Laguna just short walk from the central square & main dock. There are plenty of shops & restaurants all around us & we will be happy to help you organise any activities you want to do while you stay with us. We look forward to meeting you soon.
